PWL employ 2 permanent advisors providing guidance to ensure compliancy with health and safety legislation.  This enables our organisation to minimise risks and maximise safety.  They also monitor our safety performance and ensure that our staff are trained in safe practices and procedures.  PWL are committed to the wellbeing of our employees.

All trucks are fitted with Eroad GPS system and Lytx Drivecam driver cameras. Along with an in-cab tablet system.
This means our dispatchers have a complete picture of where all vehicles and your products are at all times; maximising efficiency and minimising cost.

All our latest trucks are fitted with the most modern safety packages available, minimising the risk of an accident and damage to our customers goods.

We have a modern workshop with four full time mechanics and engineers as well as a brake roller machine and tiedown equipment to ensure our fleet is maintained to the highest standards.

Our regular maintenance and servicing programme keeps our down time to a minimum.

driver training

All trucks are equipped with the drive cam system and we have employed a driver trainer for the purpose of on-going training and training in the latest new driving techniques. This is to ensure our drivers are kept to the highest standards with the aim of minimising breakages and down time at our end and eliminating delays for you – the customer.

All our drivers undertake safe and fuel efficient driving training based on the  government lead industry training programme (SAFED).
